Cozy rooms with modern amenities provide a comforting retreat after a day of travel. The setting around the many courtyards adds a distinctive charm to the experience.
The damp smell in some rooms detracted from the otherwise pleasant environment, possibly hinting at poor ventilation. During my stay, dinner service felt stretched thin, especially with only one person attending to over 20 diners, causing delays.

Beautifully maintained property with peaceful surroundings.
During dinner, there was only one staff member, leading to delays in service. Despite his efforts, it was clear he was overwhelmed with over 20 covers. Additionally, at checkout, the breakfast staff expressed an urgency for us to leave by 10am, which felt dismissive.

Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere at Pazo Santa Maria. The massage I received from Noelia worked wonders on my tired legs after a long day on the Camino. Alejandro at reception offered great tips and made my stay more enjoyable. The beautiful surroundings felt like a peaceful escape. The picnic breakfast they organized for us was a delightful touch, making our early departure a bit easier. However, the room had a musty smell that lingered during our stay, which detracted somewhat from the experience. Overall, I found the charm of the property and the quality of service made it worthwhile.

the view from the so-called 'superior double room' was nice, but the room smelled like damp, maybe even mold? not exactly the relaxing escape I expected. plus, I woudl ve appreciated a special gesture for all my troubles, but I guess that's asking too much here. almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Solo traveler’s hidden gem
The cozy rooms with modern amenities felt like a warm embrace after a long day, like a cute hug from an old friend! The fireplace in the old kitchen area during dinner made it so nice, it just felt like home!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, worth every penny.
